Global Team
The Global Environmental Steering Committee, which is a cross functional, executive-sponsored, global team, creates awareness, builds environmentally friendly practices and ensures a consistent focus to our approach. Our employees do their part at a grass roots level by working in local, branch environmental teams to execute our global environmental initiatives.
Training and Communication
As part of Expeditors commitment to training, we educate our employees through a series of classes on the environment. We communicate regularly to our global network of employees, customers and vendors electronically through websites, newsletters and presentations.
Partnerships and Compliance
We comply with all environmental legislation in the countries where we do business, and seek to set higher standards. We partner with local, national and global non-profits and government entities to validate our environmental approach and results.
